System Dynamics

How (different) systems stabilise and how they change are the questions to which this metatheory is dedicated. Here we focus upon the dynamics of the psyche, conflict, teams and organisations. We build on the system theory of the Bielefeld school, on temporal, existential, phenomenological and Buddhist philosophies, on Gestalt-psychology, depth-psychology and humanistic psychotherapy, as well as on scientific findings.

In metatheory we call these ‘considerations’, because they do not refer back to ‘one’ existing theory formation, and instead we offer a focus on the concept of ‘decision’, which allows us to view ‘all’ dynamics from one point of view, enabling us to then advise on change processes purposefully and integratively.
