Daniel Stern

Daniel Stern has brought unbelievable movement into almost all psychological theories. His intelligent research with infants has enriched the image of psychological abilities and vulnerabilities and has turned things on their head in some places. His evidence, that the person is a resonance body for social events, his reference about how early psychological patterns develop and how infants already learn on the changing mat, about how many central assumptions about the world form long before language, all this is, in the meantime, a core constituent of psychological knowledge. The significance of the present moment for the change of psychological patterns has received new confirmation through him. The meta-theoretical guiding processes all find support and a research-based foundation in the results of his infant research.
